I can’t control the wind, but I can adjust the sail*

Tuesday’s annual team racing match against the RSYC took place in favourable wind conditions. There was a strong turnout from the RSYC, but in the end SVYC won the competition. As ever the racing was followed by an excellent supper in the club. Racing conditions were near ideal on Wednesday with a good turnout of 12 boats. Thomas Youngman, a mere 15 years, did well following his recent success in winning the Macleod-Carey Cup. Thursday’s race was also well supported with 10 boats racing.* Ricky Skaggs
