Book Now: Laying Up Supper 2026
Join us on Saturday 3 October for the traditional Laying Up Supper—an evening of excellent food, good company and end-of-season celebration. Well present trophies for the Mermaid fleet and Handicap Cruisers, alongside outstanding Handicap Dinghy prizes and SVOD trophies for those unable to attend the Worlds Dinner. Mermaid Replacement Project: Next Member Q&A
The Club will hold its next member Q&A on the Mermaid Replacement Project on Saturday 3 October 2026, provisionally from 3.00-5.00pm , in the Mermaid Room and online via Microsoft Teams. The session follows our initial Q&A in August and further conversations with members over the summer. Young Guns Regatta 2026
Young Guns Regatta has become one of the standout highlights of the Seaview calendar, and the 2026 edition did not disappoint. After eight hotly contested races, two protest hearings and one lively dinner, the youth Mermaid fleet is truly alive and well. Sunday afternoon produced a slightly lighter wind than forecast, meaning the fleet got away on time with full mains and big spinnakers.
