Race Day 5 The Tables Turn

Wildheart Sancturay Visit; Special Guided Tour for SVYC Families
An organised visit (with private tour) to the Wild Heart Sanctuary, getting closer than usual to the amazing animals, is being arranged for SVYC families this October Half Term. The tour will take place on Monday 28th October, details are as follows: Please arrive at 13:45 at the sanctuary, meeting in reception. The tour starts at 14:00 and finishes at 15:30. Mermaid Midweek Charity fundraiser in aid of the Isle of Wight Food Bank
At the end of each Midweek sailing season we host a charity fundraiser alongside our prize-giving. The Midweek Captain keeps a record of the sailors' misdemeanours and achievements and then asks them for donations, sort of highway robbery but all in good fun. We raised £1K for Bembridge National Coastwatch Institution last year. This year we supported the Isle of Wight Food Bank and Members donated even more generously, raising £2K. More »
