Talk and Dinner with Keith Betton: Birds of the Solent & Migrating Birds

Join Keith Betton, Chair of the Hampshire Ornithological Society, for an informative evening exploring the bird life of the Solent and East Wight. Learn about notable species such as the white-tailed sea eagle, peregrine falcon, curlews, divers, grebes, and gannets, amongst other birds that make this region a unique environment for birdwatchers and naturalists alike.
Keith will discuss the important ecological role these species play and their migratory patterns through the Solent. Whether you're an avid birdwatcher or simply curious about local wildlife, this event offers valuable insights into the region's biodiversity.
Taking place in the Mermaid Room at Sea View Yacht Club, the evening begins at 7:00 PM with canapés and drinks. The talk will start at 7:30 PM, followed by a delicious two-course dinner at 8:30 PM.
