Thursday, 8th May: A Day of Reflection and Community
The commemorations will begin with a service at St. Peters Church at 18:00, offering a moment of reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made during World War II. Following the service, attendees are welcome to gather at the Sea View Yacht Club (SVYC) for a quintessentially British evening of Fish & Chips, served with a choice of wine or beer for £17.50. This event will run from 18:30 to 21:00.
The evening will conclude with a poignant Beacon Lighting Ceremony on the Esplanade at 21:30.
Sunday, 11th May: Special VE Weekend Roast
