Laying Up Supper 2025 Rounding Off the Season in Style

The Mermaid season comes to a close on Saturday 27 September 2025. The final race of the year, the Maudsley Cup, will take place in the afternoon, followed by the traditional Laying Up Supper in the evening.
The supper is a chance to reflect on the highlights of the summers racing, share stories with fellow sailors, and enjoy a good meal together as we mark the end of the season. Selected Mermaid Cups and trophies will also be presented, and all winners are encouraged to attend to collect their silverware.
