Laying Up Dinner

The Laying Up Dinner with guest speaker Lord West, the former First Sea Lord and subsequently the minister for Security and Counter Terrorism, was a great success raising over £2200 for Bembridge RNLI Lifeboat.
Members and guests were piped to dinner by two very smart Sea Cadets from the Ryde unit, which is now developing into something of a tradition at SVYC.
Lord West gave a most interesting and entertaining talk as did Robin Ebsworth the Chairman of the Bembridge Station Management Committee.
