Freddie Carr: An Evening of Americas Cup Insights

On Friday, 8th August, Sea View Yacht Club is delighted to welcome Freddie Carr, one of Britains most accomplished professional sailors, for a fascinating evening of Americas Cup stories, strategy, and behind-the-scenes insight.

A veteran of five Americas Cup campaigns, Freddie was a core member of the INEOS Britannia team that lifted the Louis Vuitton Cup and battled in the 2024 Americas Cup Final. Known for his straight-talking style, boundless energy, and deep tactical expertise, he will share an insiders view on the latest developments in one of the worlds most prestigious sporting arenas — and what lies ahead for the Cup.

The evening will be hosted by SVYC Member Pete Hunt, founder of Monumental and host of The Privileged Man podcast. Pete will lead an open, engaging Q&A with Freddie, covering everything from cutting-edge racing technology to life at the top of the sailing world.
