In a recent opening dinner that set the seas alight with flavour, Sea View Yacht Club played host to a culinary spectacle featuring a renowned family of chefs. Paul, Sarah, and Chris Hayward each cooked a course, showing that culinary skill might be genetic! The event, held against the backdrop of the waters, marked the beginning of what promises to be a spectacular season for the Club.

The evening was a showcase of culinary excellence, with the family of chefs crafting a menu that dazzled the taste buds of attendees.

Sharing the 3 courses amongst them, Chef Chris Hayward, Smoking Lobster IW, started the experience, leading on the starter; Chef Sarah Hayward, Head Chef, The Coach (Tom Kerridge Group) and 2023 Michelin Young Chef of the year providing the main; and our own Paul Hayward completing the trio of courses with dessert.

Guests were treated to an unforgettable dining experience as they savoured each bite amidst the elegant ambiance of the Yacht Club. The event not only celebrated the culinary arts but also fostered a sense of community among members and guests alike.

For those eager to delve deeper into the culinary magic of the evening, Style of Wight Magazine has dedicated an entire feature to the event on page 53, that can be viewed here. Explore behind-the-scenes moments and mouthwatering snapshots of the delectable dishes that graced the tables.

As Sea View Yacht Club continues to set sail into the season ahead, this opening dinner serves as a delicious prelude to the unforgettable experiences that lie ahead.
