Hiring out the Seaview Mermaid keelboats for a day is fast becoming a popular way for corporate organisations to advance their business relationships or host their guests.
Sea View Yacht Club offers that unique ‘business enhancement day’ by allowing corporate colleagues to skipper and crew their very own keelboat in demanding race conditions.
You can dispense with the normal pampered corporate day out and really get your team to work together in a fun yet character building environment.
Make that corporate bonding day significant and let it really count!
Race around the buoys of the Solent.
Many customers return regularly to gain from the benefits of competitive sailing in Sea View keelboats.
A Typical Day
Arrive and enjoy a hearty breakfast,
Followed by a full sail safety and race briefing.
Then, when fully confident with the day’s proceedings, skippers can take their crews to the water for an organised day of competitive racing held under international rules.
Learn the art of keelboat sailing over a short course
Then prepare for competitive action
The Club provides fully trained Race Officers and Assistants – all that is left is for the crews to do battle on the water!
We can also provide RYA qualified skippers
All ashore for lunch during a well-earned half-time break.
Then it’s back on the water to complete the race programme.
Enjoy a wind down drink and or afternoon tea before
Prizegiving, and then
Depart at leisure.
Or why not book in for that special annual dinner………….and stay to enjoy the party……
Formal dinners can be arranged (see ‘Private & Corporate Functions’) for either the night before or after the event – it’s up to you!
