Mermaids - World Championships 2026
SVYC Mermaid Class World Championships - Saturday 29th to Sunday 30th August 2026
A fresh take on the annual Nationals regatta, we hope to see you at the World Championships at the end of August. Copying the popular Young Guns format, we are planning proper W/L racing with CV starts. Target time each race is around 45 minutes.
Expected Schedule - Saturday 29th August:
- Briefing 09:00
- 4 Races (first start 10:30)
- Drinks & Regatta Dinner
Expected Schedule - Sunday 30th August:
- 2 Races (first start 10:00)
- No warning signal after 12:00
- Prizegiving
Pricing is currently under discussion, it is expected to cost around £300 per boat (including dinner).
