Island stories, told by people who understand the Island. Our Fireside Chats bring members and guests together in the intimate setting of the Mermaid Room for a relaxed evening, a good supper and a riveting topic—with time for questions and conversation.
This October, a member of Wildhearts Learning and Discovery team joins us to explore its journey from the Isle of Wight Zoo to the animal sanctuary we know today—and what that change really means.
Well hear some of the rescue stories behind its residents, including bears Benji and Balu and tigers Softi and Toph, alongside a glimpse of the projects and campaigns supporting its work in animal welfare and environmental conservation.
