Seaview Race Week Regatta and Entry Form
WELCOME TO SEAVIEW RACE WEEK 2024
Seaview Race Week is truly coming to life this year, with 6 classes across all ages. The aim? Provide some excellent, high quality racing for maximum competitiveness and enjoyment by all. All races will be run off a committee boat, with windward starts and high quality courses. For the open classes, we aim to provide something different to the class norm, maximising variation and enjoyment for members.
Available Classes: 6 race series: Optimists, Cadet Slow Handicap, Cadet Fast Handicap. 5 race series: Open Laser Fleet, SVOD Fleet, Mermaid Feet.
Entry Fees: Cadet class entry fees include the classic Race Week T-shirt. Open events can be entered either with or without purchasing a T-shirt. Please ensure you select the correct price when entering depending on your preference.
Provisional Timings:
Monday 5th August: 9:30am briefing at SVYC. 2 races for Cadet classes starting 11:00 onwards, 1 race for Open classes starting 11:20 onwards.
Tuesday 6th & Wednesday 7th August: 2 races for both Cadet and Open classes, with the first start at 10:00 and 10:20 respectively. 7pm Race Week BBQ and Prize Giving at the club.
