Royal Thames 250th Regatta: June 12-15th
Enter the draw for a boat in the Royal Thames 250th Regatta... Action-filled racing from Cowes and a full social calendar.
Draw will be made on Easter Sunday by CofM & CWC in the Club.
Pricing (Provisional): £1000 per boat, including regatta entry, swinging moorings in Cowes and Mermaid boat charter.
Arrangements:
- Passage Race to Cowes: Scheduled for Wednesday pm from 16:00, after the day's charter sailing. Note LW @ 18:00. Sunset 21:18.
- Regatta Racing: Takes place from Thursday to Sunday.
- Official Royal Thames Party: Held on Saturday 14th at Cowes Yacht Haven, limited to 400 guests. Bookings open on 1st February direct with RTYC.
- Return Passage Race: After the regatta on Sunday.
Transport:
- RIBs will be organised for daily transport to and from Cowes.
- Land transport will be organised for late journeys, including the Saturday evening party and other social events during the regatta.
Entries:
Fractional entries should be coordinated through a nominated Club member or helm, who will be responsible for booking, payment of fees, electronic registration of their boat, and communication with the Club regatta organiser, Anna Cockell.
Communication and Updates:
- Anna will also create and host a WhatsApp group for the event once the draw has been completed.
