Public meeting with Southern Water at the Sea View Yacht Club.
So we have some sense of numbers, could any SVYC member planning on attending book in.

I wanted to keep you up-to-date following the report I prepared for Bob Seely MP last year on the unacceptable state of our local sewers. We've run a tightly-focussed campaign with one simple objective - making the waters and beaches off Seaview cleaner and safer for ALL. You can read the report online HERE.
Southern Water management has accepted an invitation from Cllr Dave Adams (IW Council and Nettlestone & Seaview Parish Council) to attend a Public Meeting to answer questions.
This meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday of Easter week - 19thApril at 6.00pm.
Southern Water has agreed to replace the shattered sewage outfall pipes, one in front of The Old Fort, the other in Sandy Cove / Seagrove Bay and recently embarked on surveys & planning to replace them both, with the first works currently scheduled - perhaps optimistically - for April 25th.
The Sea View Yacht Club has kindly agreed to provide the venue and the bar will be open to all - members and non-members alike. ALL are welcome, so please do pass this on to your friends and any contacts who may have an interest in improving our seaside environment.
Southern Water has asked for any key questions to be submitted in advance, so that they can come better prepared to answer them in full.

We will then sort and summarise them all before submitting them which has to be before 13th April
I look forward to each of you helping to fill the club with concerned locals and impressing Southern Water with the depth of feeling here, to get their mess cleared up.
