The end of another Mermaid sailing season is upon us, and what better way to round it off than with our traditional Laying Up Supper.
This special evening is a chance to look back on the thrills of the season just past — the close racing, the triumphs, and the near misses — while also raising a glass to our trophy winners. Expect a little silverware to be paraded, a few rivalries re-lived in good humour, and plenty of laughter as we celebrate a fantastic summer of sailing.
The supper follows the Maudsley Cup, weather permitting, so spirits will already be high as we gather to mark the seasons close in style.
