Wine Pairings
A complex white blend (60% Chenin Blanc, 23% Viognier, 11% Grenache Blanc, 6% Roussanne), named after the rare Babiana Noctiflora flower of the Paardeberg Mountain. Old-vine Chenin provides depth, lifted by aromatic Viognier, Grenache Blanc, and Roussanne. Naturally fermented and barrel-aged for 12 months, it shows smoky stone fruit, creamy texture, and subtle oak.
or
Named after Lady Anne Monson, a pioneering botanist honoured by Carl Peter Thunberg in 1774. This Shiraz-led blend (with Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Grenache) comes from granite soils and bush vines, hand-harvested for quality. Naturally fermented and matured 16 months in large French oak barrels, it shows red cherry, plum, rose, spice, and a velvety, smooth palate. Beautiful with mature steak over coals.
