Club Race Officers Course

Club Race Officer. Tailored to our starting procedures, race courses and the fleets we sail here at Sea View Yacht Club.

This course is intended for Members who would like to act as Race Officer or Deck Assistant at the Club or on the Committee Boat. The emphasis is on ensuring that the correct visual and sound signals are made at the right time and for the right reason.

It covers the RYA Syllabus but in a way that applies to Seaview.

Bar: 12:00 22:00 (Coffee Station open from 09:00)
Restaurant: 12:00 14:30 and 17:00 20:30

Saturday 3rd May

Bar: 12:00 00:00 (Coffee Station open from 09:00)
Restaurant: 12:00 14:30
Please note: The restaurant will be closed on Saturday evening for the Fitting Out Supper and a private function.
Important: Due to multiple events at the Club, evening bar service from 18:30 will be limited to the race deck and staging areas.

Sunday 4th May

Bar: 12:00 22:00 (Coffee Station open from 09:00)
Restaurant: Sunday Lunch 12:00 14:30

Monday 5th May

Bar: 12:00 21:00 (Coffee Station open from 09:00)
Restaurant: 12:00 14:30 and 17:00 20:00

From Tuesday 7th May onwards:

Coffee Station: Open daily from 09:00
Bar: Open daily from 12:00
Restaurant:
- Lunch: 12:00 14:30 (Wednesday to Sunday)
- Dinner: 17:00 20:00 (Wednesday to Saturday)
