National Swallow Class Championships 2026 (SVYC)
Sea View Yacht Club is proud to host the National Swallow Class Championships 2026, delivered in association with
the National Swallow Class Association. Join us in Seaview for a full weekend of racing on the Eastern Solent,
plus a warm, sociable shoreside programme for crews, families, and friends.

Racing will take place in the Eastern Solent, with courses planned as
sausage/triangle or windward/leeward (details in the Sailing Instructions).

- No warning signal after 13:00 on Sunday 5 July
- Series validity: 2 races required to constitute a series
- Scoring: RRS Appendix A (Low Points)
- Fewer than 4 races: no discard

Entry, fees & deadlines
Competitors are encouraged to enter early via the online entry form.
- Entry fee: £110.00 per boat
- Includes a swinging mooring for the evenings of Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July
- Late entry fee: +£20 (applied to entries received after 09:30 on Monday 22 June 2026, at RC discretion)
- Refunds: Fees are strictly non-refundable
- Entry deadline: 09:30 on Monday 22 June 2026

Friday 3 July Informal Supper & Drinks Reception
Following the competitor briefing, join us in the Mermaid Room and on the Race Deck from 19:00.
- Dress code: Smart casual
- Supper: £15.00pp (served 19:00 - 20:30)
- Traditional fish in Isle of Wight beer batter and chips, or
- Battered halloumi & vegetable fritters with chips (V)
- Bar service available throughout
Saturday 4 July Championship Dinner
- Drinks & canapés: from 19:00 (on the Club Staging, weather permitting)
- Dinner: from 20:00 (Mermaid Room)
- Cost: £40.00pp
