Seaview Race Week Regatta and Entry Form

WELCOME TO SEAVIEW RACE WEEK 2025

Seaview Race Week is back after a great year in 2024. 5 or 6 races depending on boat class over 3 days, providing excellent, high quality racing across a variety of courses. All races will be run off a committee boat with windward starts. For the open classes, we aim to provide something different to the class norm, maximising variation and enjoyment for members.

Available Classes: 6 race series: Optimists, Cadet Slow Handicap, Cadet Fast Handicap. 5 race series: Open Laser Fleet, SVOD Fleet, Mermaid Feet.

Entry Fees: Cadet class entry fees include the classic Race Week T-shirt. Open events can be entered either with or without purchasing a T-shirt. Please ensure you select the correct price when entering depending on your preference.

Provisional Timings: 

Monday 5th August: 9:30am briefing at SVYC. 2 races for Cadet classes starting 11:00 onwards, 1 race for Open classes starting 11:20 onwards.

Tuesday 6th & Wednesday 7th August: 2 races for both Cadet and Open classes, with the first start at 10:00 and 10:20 respectively. 7pm Race Week BBQ and Prize Giving at the club.

Open to all who have RYA Stage 3 and above.
This event is primarily open to Fevas, Visions and Cats. Other boats are welcome to enter, and their entries will be reviewed by the entries committee.
