An excellent turnout for the Green Welly, but unfortunately the weather proved to be a stumbling block and there was no racing. However, over 40 people attended the supper and a convivial evening was had by everyone. Such was the enthusiasm that we hope to run the race in September. Wednesday was not much better with a very choppy sea (see the picture above) and so it was early to the bar. Thursday was much better and nine boats had a very pleasant race in relatively light airs.
