Without patience, a sailor I would never be*
Published 09:00 on 5 Jun 2015Wednesday’s Warner Trophy was raced for by all 14 Mermaids and in near ideal conditions the race was won by Guy Mattinson. Thursday saw the evening race start in perfect conditions: wind, sun and not much tide. However, seconds after the first boat started, the wind dropped from 10 to 5 knots and stayed like that until the first boat finished, when the wind increased again.
