SVYC Golf Day at Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club

The Yacht Club will be holding a golf day at Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club on Saturday 4th May to coincide with the Fitting Out Supper.  A block of 5 tee times from 13:00 has been reserved. This will be an 18 hole stableford competition, off the yellow tees for men and the red tees for ladies. It will also be possible to play 9 holes only, if the allotted times have not all been taken by those playing 18 holes, but not as part of the competition.

The cost of the day will be £35, to include prizes. The cost for members of Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club will be £2.50. The cost for those playing 9 holes will be £32.50. The appropriate amount will be debited after the event to your club account. Members are welcome to bring family members as guests.

It will be possible to have lunch or a snack in the clubhouse before play. Prize giving arangements will be advised closer to the date.

Please inform David Stevens by e-mail (dhstevens20@hotmail.com) as soon as possible but not later than 27th April if you wish to play; the reason for this cut off date is that we need to know at least 7 days before the event if more than 20 wish to play, in which case it should still be possible to book some additional tee times. For our last event on 30th March we were oversubscribed but it was not possible to obtain any additional tee times.
