New Co-Captains of stand-up paddleboarding, Captain of motorboats and Leader of our foiling initiative
Three new roles have been created as part of the Clubs priorities to widen and grow members' participation in boating activities, while ensuring we continue to deliver safely our on-the-water activities. Wightlink car ferry stuck in Solent during Storm Eunice
Most of us have had Solent crossings we might wish to forget. But for the 90 passengers on board, Friday's 10am Wightlink sailing from Fishbourne was unforgettable. Welcome news potentially from Wightlink which is considering re-extending the FastCat timetable back into the later evenings again. OnTheWight reports news of the changes emerged from a meeting held between Councillor Richard Quigley - also chair of the Islands Labour Party - and bosses from both Red Funnel and Wightlink.
