Cockles Club Bookings

Cockles Club is for children aged between 3 years and 7 years. 

The focus of the week will be on the children (Cockles), parents and grandparents, all making new and sustaining friendships as well as providing an opportunity to try new things and build on skills learnt during this and in earlier years. For anyone new to Cockles, activities include swimming, rowing, Paddleboarding, riding, football, tennis, arts & crafts, yoga, a group sports day and plenty of other things to keep the little ones occupied during the week.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applications will be dealt with on a first come first served basis and there is a limit on capacity so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Cockles must be aged a minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years as of 1st September 2024.

All participants for Cockles Week must have a parent or grandparent who is a member of the SVYC.

Each Cockle also requires a nominated adult to be with him or her at all times over the course of the four days.  This can either be a parent, grandparent, guardian, or a nanny/au pair.  No one can be the nominated adult to more than one child.

Cockles will be placed in groups based on age but if you have children that you would like to be in groups together (e.g., siblings or cousins) then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this request. 

We require as many helpers as possible, and the loan of equipment and gardens. Do please email us on cockles@svyc.org.uk  if you can help, or if you are able to lend equipment and gardens/space, or anything else which you think could be useful.
