Wightlink car ferry stuck in Solent during Storm Eunice

Most of us have had Solent crossings we might wish to forget. But for the 90 passengers on board, Friday's 10am Wightlink sailing from Fishbourne was unforgettable. What was meant to be a 40-minute crossing, turned into a four-hour Solent Cruise thanks to Storm Eunice. The MarineTraffic route shows their back and forth as the captain waited to be able to enter Portsmouth safely. It is unclear how many passengers had robust enough stomachs to take up the free refreshments offered for those onboard.
