Challenge Cup presented in 1935 by his family in memory of Mr. Arthur Balmer, Club Solicitor from 1929 to 1935. Originally raced for in an ordinary race, but, since 1973 has been awarded to the winner of a race for inexperienced member helms during the SVYC Regatta.
