Mermaids - Veterans Race (Aged 55 and over)

SIMONDS' VETERANS CUP
Silver Tankard presented in 2000 as a millennium trophy for the Mermaid Class by the Simonds family (who had given the original Veterans Cup which had gone astray in 1964). The interim cup presented in 1965 is now awarded for this race.
VETERANS (Line Honours) CUP
Challenge Cup presented in 1978 by Pam and Bruce Donald to replace one given in 1965 by Monica and Duncan Simonds which was lost in 1974. The Simonds family gave a new cup in 2000 for the race, so this Trophy is now given for line honours.
